The blend of soya and rice bran oils is light and does not negatively affect the skin like mineral oils would. Just mix into your favourite moisturiser for a natural tint or use on its own as a foundation. You can also dot a little around unsightly blemishes for effective coverage.

It’s a hot day and you need a quick healthy refreshing pick-me-up. TRY THIS!

Make some green tea and pour into a plastic bottle, add a drop of lemon or fruit juice of your choice and leave in the freezer to cool and go slightly icey.

Its so good for you and it tastes amazing!

Today my cousin came around for a facial and was playing with a fruit bag she got from her local green grocers. She gave me a fantastic new idea to help scrub that extra facial dirt away!

Roll up a fruit bag like the one you see here! and just use it to massage your skin. It will flake away any dead skin cells and leave your skin plump and soft!

Listen up for the latest in softening face scrubs!

you will need:

a handful of oatmeal

beauty benefits:

acts as an exfoliant. the milky substance it produces when damp will hydrate your skin, leaving it silky soft and glowing! the oats also soothe and heals the skin and also reduces inflammation. many people with eczema or very rough or dry skin will bathe in oatmeal as it is totally hypoallergenic. oatmeal can also soothe chicken pox, mosquito bites and minor burns.

use;

- get a handful of oatmeal and slightly soak it

- rub into face

- you will see a milky substance appear keep massaging into your skin for about 5 minutes

- wash away with cool water

- pat face dry

Baking soda removes conditioner build-up from your hair. Rub in and rinse thoroughly, then shampoo with your regular shampoo.

Mayonnaise is a great conditioner for dry hair.

Depending on the length of your hair, apply approximately 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to your dry hair. Work into hair really well and then cover your hair with cling film or a plastic bag, allowing to set for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual!
