You will need:
Green tea -2x teabags/2x tblspoon
Sugar -3x tblspoon
Lemon juice -1x tblspoon
Boiling water
Tblspoon
Container
Beauty benefits:
Green tea - full of anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory’s! so it’s great to reduce redness and swelling! Also great for cleansing, softening and tightening the skin. Studies have shown when used for skin, it can help prevent skin cancer, and UV damage.
Sugar - Produces glycolic acid, one of the natural alpha hydroxy acids that exfoliates the skin. This leaves your skin soft and glowing!glowing!
Lemon juice - natural exfoliant, skin brightener and anti-infective. Rich in fruit acids that will exfoliate to gently remove dead skin cells and will also bleach darkened or discolored areas to give you that even tone. Great for reducing freckles and scars. Most of all, zaps those blemishes and acne!
MAKE;
- boil water and add to the green tea
- put 3 tblspoons of sugar into container
- add lemon juice to green tea
- wait for tea to cool, if you add it to the water while hot it will melt the sugar
- when cool add 2 tblspoons of tea to the sugar and mix. it should be like watery sand
- with the left over green tea store in the fridge to use as a toner
USE;
- use your fingers to apply the mask
- leave for 5-15 minutes however long you have
- gently wash off, using your fingers in a circular motion to exfoliate
- pat face dry with kitchen tissue or towel
- splash the left over green tea from earlier over face or use cotton wool or tissue to apply
- you can leave this to dry as it doesn’t go sticky
AND WHALAH!
hope you enjoy!
